The Shower Sage

I contemplate the Will to Power
While standing wet here in the shower

The only time and place where I
Can let the neurons flow -- I'm dry

When I am out -- I cannot think
When all my children want a drink

Ontology can't find a place
When neurons slow, but children race

Around the house -- I watch them grow
But not my thoughts -- they stop the flow

And even these lines are a feat
When little mouths demand to eat

Techniques like these I must employ
To work as I raise each small joy

I feel the water, thoughts again
Begin to whirl and swirl and then

Before I cleanse my mental drought
There's "Daddy? When you coming out?"
